Project gateway
Three ways into VSF projects.
RDC is the flagship project network. San Rafael is VSF’s first implemented Colombia proof point, with 250 vetiver slips planted on April 2, 2026. New ideas start with a simple proposal.
Vetiver is a practical grass used around the world to slow runoff, hold soil in place, and make fragile ground easier to manage. Its roots reach 3–5 metres deep — that depth is what holds a hillside through heavy rain.

Flagship project
RDC
The Congo Basin flagship project. It brings the field work and its learning into one place.
Why it matters
It keeps the main story easy to find without making it the only route.
Colombia field proof
San Rafael
VSF’s first implemented Colombia proof point in El Juego, with 250 vetiver slips planted on April 2, 2026. It is now moving into documentation, monitoring, and propagation planning.
Why it matters
It shows what the work looks like in a real site and what the next phase can build on: evidence, survival tracking, and nursery expansion.
New project ideas
Propose a project
A route for new ideas, local needs, and early-stage projects.
Why it matters
It keeps first contact simple and gives new work a clear entry point.
